Mid Century "Le Corbusier", Table & Two Chairs Set for Pascal Raffier Vannerie, France.

This woven rattan set of two chairs and matching table by Corbusier for Pascal Raffier Vannerie have come from a family’s home in Lincolnshire.

Unfortunately, they had been left for decades in their sunroom, where without the proper regular cleaning and conditioning the rattan had gone brittle. This meant in some places the brittle rattan/cane had broken. All breakages are clearly shown in the photos. This also means the price is reflective of the damage!

Although age-related damages this rare set is still fully functional and iconic. It comprises of two armchairs with curved details and rustic carved wooden legs, and a matching circular table with bent petal-shaped cane sections at the apex. These have also been damaged at some point and tacked back in.
