Original 1960s Peacock Rattan Tub Chair & Matching Table

This set is truly a rare find, from only one previous owner!

This lovely low seat is in great condition & very sturdy for its age and delicate make-up. The edge is made up of a monochrome twist with matching cross stitches in black on every horizontal cross-section.

The table has a black Aztec detail running along the outer edge. The frame is stained a darker contrast colour, with the lapping cane in its natural colour. The table is slightly wonky, which is shown in the images.

The chair has the traditional spiral/twisted seat seen on the standard large peacock chair but has the added benefit of fitting into most rooms without being overbearing and looking comfy & cosy.

The table does have areas of fading and patina, which is commensurate with its age.
